Once someone signs up to my database here are the steps I take them through.
1. The 'Thank You' Page.

Take them to a thank you page and then instruct them on what to do next. I also have a testimonial video playing to build credibility.
2. The 'Thank You' email

This is sent out to them immediately after they have signed up to my list.
It is the same look and feel as my website - so they know it's from me. And the same look and feel creates trust - because there's consistency in the appearance.
I use nice images and media clippings to establish credibility and of course plenty of testimonials.
3. The 'bgf' Landing Page

This is the 'quick' video. It details the 18 parts of my formula. Just in case fast movers want to know what I do.
There's testimonials played at the start and end to enhance credibility.
4. 'Video #1' Landing Page

I take the prospective client to a 15 min video. It has testimonials that play on it to boost expert credibility.
You'll notice that each video has it's own page by now - so they can focus on that video only. And that the look and feel of everything is the same - this builds trust.
5. The Second Email

This is sent out 1 day after they sign up. This 'gap' builds 'anticipation' and also gives me another way to 'contact' them. The more that you can have contact with your potential customers - the greater the probability of converting them into customers.
6. 'Video #2"

Just like the others - testimonial then content. The content is aimed at educating people on the benefits they can get from working with me. You want to build up their desire of getting the benefits so that they say to themselves "I've got to work with this guy!"
What next?
I send out newsletters monthly. On them I use the same approach and formula to everything I do. Good content. Testimonials to provide overwhelming proof. A call to action.
Also - I planned to do another 3 videos that would be sent out on days 2 to 5. But I got so busy, I just figured that it's working good enough - so I haven't finished them.
When I make the time - I'll put up another 3 videos like I just mentioned, then one e-mail a week for the next 2 years. (that's about 104 e-mails)
What will be the content?
- Testimonial interviews.
- Case studies, and
- Free videos that 'coach' the prospective client on how they can grow their business.
The intention is to help the prospective customer get some success on my free advice so that they think - 'wow - what if I became a client - then I'd really do well'.
Anyway - map out what you can do to help 'on-board' new clients.
