For us to get started, we need some more things...

Website Requirements

1. Web Hosting and Domain Name

In order to set up your WordPress website, you will need two things.

Domain Name (a web address like YourSiteName.com). If you don’t have a domain name yet, you can have the name of your company, YourCompanyName.com.

Web Hosting (a service that connects your site to the internet) - You will need to get Hostgator as your web hosting provider if you do not have one or change to this web hosting service since the support and functions are great.

Sign up to Hostgator Baby Plan.

If it is a new domain you want to register, choose the Register a New Domain option. The system will tell you if the domain is already taken so you can think of another.

If you already have an existing domain, then click the other option I Already Own This Domain.

Fill in your account details and follow the rest of the instructions. Take note of the username and password that you input. Save it somewhere like in a notepad in your computer.

Once successful, you will receive a welcome email from Hostgator.

2. Website Theme

We require that you get a Divi Account for $89/Year for the website theme plugin and support. Once you successfully signed up please send us the log in details.

3. Previous cPanel logins - cPanel is a web based hosting control panel provided by many hosting providers to website owners allowing them to manage their websites from a web based interface.

If you have a previous Hosting Provider other than Hostgator, we need to get access to that hosting's cPanel.

Here are a few ways to retrieve this information.

a. You can log in on your Customer Portal or your Hosting Billing Account and find your cPanel details under My Services or My Domain.

b.  You can try to search your Email inbox and type in the keywords "Hosting" or "cPanel" then you may  find the Welcome email that your hosting  provider sent you.

c.  Contact your hosting provider for your cPanel details . (If your site is being handled by a web dev agency you can contact them to ask for the information).

4. Your website must be running on WordPress platform. If it is not built on WordPress, we will need to convert it.

Website Strategy Overview

Your website design and content may be different to this one, however the strategy will be similar - get business from your site. This video walks you through how we will do this.

Webpage Requirements

1. Business Logo in transparent background

2. 3-5 large high resolution hero images in 1366 px by 768 px

3. Enquiry Form - The best way to get qualified leads is to ask questions. Pls provide us with the questions you'd like in your enquiry forms.

Note that some of your products/services may require different questions. That's fine. Just send us a word doc with:

a. The name of the product/service
b. The questions you'd like to ask.

4. Intro video for each page. The videos must be named after the name of the page they will be embedded onto. We suggest that you upload the videos to your YouTube channel or Vimeo.

5. Intro paragraph of about 2-3 sentences that best describes each of your pages.

6. Top 3 products/services to feature with images and and brief content to introduce each

7. Awards & Qualifications You Have - images and/or badges or logo of award giving body

8. Client Testimonials - Can be videos or texts about the client’s experience working with you.

9. Contact Information - such as your social media URL’s, email, contact number and address etc.

10. Website codes - Pls provide all the codes you want us to add to your new site. Eg. Adwords, Analytics, Facebook etc. We will only add what you provide to us - pls CLEALY list the type of code, and FULL instructions of where you want us to place the code. Eg Type of code, Page(s) it needs to be inserted.

11. Download offer as lead magnet- You can send us a PDF file that you offer to your customers.

If you don’t have any as of yet, you can start with this Price Guide file. Fill out the required information and send it back to us so we will create the PDF file for you. Here is an example Price Guide for Custom Outdoor Living we did.

The next video will show you the price guide on the page, then the 'secret' booking page and an 'About Us' video to increase the connection to your business.

Images and Videos


 


1. We need minimum of at least 5 images for each of your main website pages, preferably 1600x800 px in size.


 


2. This 5 different images (not stock photos) must be unique to your business for each landing page, preferably in 6:4 aspect ratio of high resolution images. Name each image so we knew where we will place it (ex. Home Page, Product Page, Careers etc). Provide a brief description about each of the images.


 


3. 1 featured video on each main pages excluding the testimonial videos. It can be a Youtube/Wistia/Vimeo link or a video file we can embed on each page.


 


4. We need text Contents for your Landing Page. It must be at least 250-300 words or above. If you can't write just send us a Vidyard Recording and tell something about it and we will create a content for you based on it.


 


5. Other videos/images you want to put on each landing page. Provide a description of what each is about.



 


Sending Video Instructions


 


If you have specific instructions on how you want each page should look, you can send us a video recording using Vidyard Chrome extension.


 


You can also record a video on what content each section of the landing page should have, revolving around what the page is all about ( Ex. About Us Page then it must be revolving about the business history and everything about the business.)

Where to Send Your Files


 


Send them to us following any of the options below.


 


1. Go to this link and provide all website information in the form.


 


2. Send us the files as attachment to this email website@add10million.com


 


3. Send us the files via a dropbox link if you have a dropbox account


 


4. Share us a folder in your dropbox account to dropbox@add10million.com and just drop any files you want added in the shared folder. Please make sure to name the folder after your website name so it's easier for us to know.


 


5. Please click this link to send your files to our dropbox if you don't have your own dropbox account. Please add your name in the file name. Example: Casey-Gollan-logo.png
